"Turkish experimental electronic musician/producer Özcan Ertek who goes by the name of soundcollage released his debut EP, the aptly titled Moon Junk recently and while brief, five tracks clocking in at just 13 minutes, the emerging quality of the end product suggests a bright future. The five instrumental tracks all deal with the themes of time, space, both in the literal and figurative sense and the sub-conscious. The slowly constructed title track revolves around an inoffensive beat constantly ebbing away while walls of synth intertwine and wrap themselves around it."
